An orthopedics surgeon by profession, Vikrant "Vik" was born in India. In 2005 Vik came to US for further education. Currently he is doing a year of fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology at Boston MGH and Children Hospital in Boston.
Orthopedics is his first love and photography these days is close second.In 2008 he got his first digital SLR, a canon 50D and with time has changed the camera and lenses a few times to find the right combination which is an ongoing affair.
A recently acquired Leica M8u digital rangefinder is a new experience.He mostly takes pictures of his toddler son. Getting time for photography from the busy schedule of professional responsibilities is hard but he makes an effort to shoot whenever there is an opportunity.
